Dear Television Writers:
The Patty Duke Show was very popular in its day, and it held up reasonably well in reruns. I myself enjoyed the show when it was on Nick At Nite. That fact notwithstanding, there are certain members of the American Public (tm) who are intelligent enough to know that cousins cannot be identical twins, even if you do make their personalities out to be polar opposites. Therefore, I would propose that you cease and desist with all plans to continue the ludicrous trend of featuring identical cousins in sitcom after sitcom. Thank you.
